The man who shot dead his estranged wife in Maitland two years ago will now spend at least three decades behind bars.
62-year-old Keith Goodbun was sentenced to 41 years in prison in the NSW Supreme Court today.
He had previously pleaded guilty to the murder of Molly Goodbun at her Horseshoe Bend home back in 2016.
He also admitted to assaulting his daughter during the incident.
Mr. Goodbun was given a non-parole period of 31 years.
