Police are looking to the public for help, after a young girl was approached at a park in Hamilton this morning.
At about 10am, a man allegedly walked up to the 5-year-old and kissed her on the cheek.
He then fled in a silver vehicle after the child’s carer intervened.
Investigating officers are looking to speak with a man described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, around 180cm tall, with black hair and facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a leather jacket and long pants.
Police have released an image of the car that may be linked to the incident.
