Police have now charged a member of the Nomads Bikie gang over a public shooting in Cooks Hill last week.
They heard reports of a shooting on Darby Street just after 2:30am on Wednesday, 25th July and later found bullet holes in an apartment block.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
As part of investigations, officers under Strike Force Raptor North searched a home unit on the same street on Friday afternoon.
Police say they found a .45 calibre handgun and a beanie with ‘eye-holes’ cut out.
The 42-year-old male tenant had already been arrested over an unrelated assault earlier that day.
He’s now been slapped with multiple charges, including possession of an unregistered firearm and breaching a firearms prohibition order.
He’s due to front court today.
