A Department of Housing complex in Cooks Hill had to be evacuated after a fire took a hold of a unit this morning.
It’s believed emergency services were called to the scene around 4am where the blaze had engulfed a ground-floor unit.
The unit was unoccupied at the time.
No-one was injured however an elderly woman had to be rescued from the top floor.
Police are now investigating and are treating the incident as suspicious.
