A man has be nabbed by police over a spate of break and enters on cafes and restaurants in Newcastle.
Plain clothes officers arrested the man over the alleged offenses in and around Cook’s Hill and Newcastle West yesterday.
Police say they identified the man by his methods and by obtaining high quality CCTV from some of the businesses, adding it’s a timely reminder that high quality, well positioned cameras can make a difference.
