A local police officer will face court later this year over domestic violence related offences.
Police say last November an investigation was opened into reports of a domestic-related incident.
On Wednesday, a 38-year-old male senior constable was charged with common assault and stalk/intimidate offences following inquiries.
He will now face Toronto Local Court in March and his employment status has been placed under review.
