Employment at Williamtown’s defence and aerospace hub is to receive a boost under a $500 million dollar federal project.
Defence Industries Minister and member for Shortland Pat Conroy this morning announced an expansion of the joint air battle management system project.
Today’s announcement will double the number of staff at Lockheed Martin’s site to 60 and help boost management and integration of air battle management systems for ships and aircraft.
