A man will front court in October following Jet ski accident at Dixon Park earlier this month.
Just after 7.30am on the morning of August 10, police patrolling Newcastle were called to the scene, locating a man who had suffered significant injuries in a Jet Ski crash.
The 71 – year-old was treated at the scene for a severe shoulder laceration before being taken to the John Hunter Hospital.
Following enquires, a 36 – year old man was charged with operating a recreation vessel in a negligent manner.
He has been served a future court attendance to notice to appear in Newcastle Local Court on October 3rd.
