A number of Hunter schools will throw their gates open this winter holidays, as part of the State Government’s Share Our Space Program.
Families across Lake Macquarie, Charlestown, Swansea, Wallsend, Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock, and Port Stephens will have access to local playgrounds and school facilities from 8am-5pm until July 20th.
It’s all in a bid to help kids stay active during the school break.
Each school will receive a $5, 000 grant for participating.
