A woman has been charged after she was allegedly found with drugs during a Random Breath Test at Belmont last night.
Police say they pulled the Peugeot over on the Pacific Highway around 6pm.
The 51-year-old Tingira Heights woman returned a negative breath test but checks apparently found she was driving on a suspended licence.
A search of the car allegedly found methamphetamine and cash, which police seized.
The woman was charged with drug supply and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
She’s been refused bail to front Newcastle Local Court today.
