Fair Trading is warning consumers to stay away from Hunterstone Australia amid claims the company is ripping-off customers.
The natural stone paver and building material business operates primarily online, but also has a depots at Heatherbrae and at Sunshine in Victoria.
The company’s director, Azad Mortazavi is accused of accepting full up-front payments from customers, while failing to deliver their products.
Some customers have also reported receiving poor quality materials.
Fair Trading has received 81 complaints about the company between February 2016 and July 2018, with estimates suggesting customers have lost around $250,000.
