Hunter Surf Lifesaving is set to bring in the new season with it’s annual Raising the Flag Ceremony getting underway at Cooks Hill Surf Club tomorrow morning.
The event gets underway from 9.30am ahead of what’s expected to be a busy summer for the region’s beaches.
Over 800,000 visitors made their way to Hunter shores last summer , with even more expected this time around.
