Novocastrian Quilters are excited to be celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a wonderful Quilt Exhibition.
Come along and see the display of over 100 modern and traditional quilts and art works including this year’s Ruby Challenge. The Exhibition is open from 9am to 4pm both days and entry is $10. Visitors will be encouraged to vote for their favourite quilt on display. A great variety of excellent quality craft goods will be for sale and visitors can purchase a ticket in a “Bag Lotto” where they go into a draw for a bag of their choice. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase fabric and other sewing items from four local patchwork shops and a coffee cart will be on site for drinks and lunches. Tickets will be on sale for this year’s Raffle Quilt “Tall Poppy” that created lots of interest at the Newcastle Craft Alive Show.
